Makita Cordless/corded 18v X2 Hepa Vac

It can run off 2 18v batteries or be plugged in.

Pros:

Small, light

Good suction

Runs off existing battery platform

Cordless and Corded

Onboard battery gauge

Big on button on top

Comes with 2 hoses

Comes with vac attachments

Variable speed

Cons:

Poor cord wrap design

No storage for hose

Bags could be hard to find

Although the pros weigh out the cons the wrap for the cord is such a dissapoitment. They didn’t add big enough tabs and it constantly is falling off.

What would have been a cool idea is a release on the cord from the vac.

I would have also liked to have seen a small bag come with this so you could store the hoses and attachments in it.

Yes I said a bag 😂

It’s great the Attachments come with it but they hang off the side and could get lost easily and are sorta a pain sticking out in the open.

The vac does cut down to almost half the cfm when running on batteries.

So far we are impressed with the runtime. If your going to use it for an extended amount we have found it lasts over 30 min on high working hard off 2 5.0 packs.

The casters seem decent and have a brake.

Also they put a power switch on the front, the on button on top is handy but could be a pain if it gets bumped traveling in the work vehicle. The switch on the front cuts the power completely.

The unit weighs just over 20lbs.

Another plus is the bumpers on the edges that help protect materials.

Great little vac, it does it’s job very well but could be better in our opinion.
